Product Introduction
Bamboo decking board has many characteristics: strong, hard, high density, high stability, durable, etc. Such characteristics make the material very popular in the world. More importantly, it is an environmentally friendly material that reduces the massively wood cutting, for bamboo has a fast-growing period and it can regenerate itself after cutting, however wood has a very long long growing period (more than 25 years), aggresively cutting the wood will badly destroy the forest and the environment. That is why bamboo material is widely used in many fields nowadays.
Product Feature and Application
It is clear that tropical wood was out of the question for ecological reasons. Truth shows that REBO® Bamboo decking boards meet all requirements: They are classified in durability class 1 and use class 4 according to EN350/EN335, perfomed with fire class Bfl-s1 according to EN 13501-1. The boards meet the European E1 standard, its formaldehyde emission in air is 0.05mg/m3 according to EN 717-1. Bamboo is actually stronger and more durable than wood, which makes it an ideal building material for outdoor living spaces such as decks and patios.
Product Details
Most REBO bamboo decking boards are built with 1.86m, 2.2m and 2.5m or more length(6.1, 7.2, 8.2 feet) boards, and these popular lengths come at a premium price. Among these lengths, 1.86m is the best standard length and is the widely used length. Using shorter length boards can save you up to 25% on decking. So do not think that the longer is the best. REBO suggests you take 1.86m length, which is very popular in the international world. REBO's unique carbonized and hot pressing process creates a high dense, environmentally friendly, stable and durable decking. Tongue and grooved heads system offers easier joint method. The grooved sides can be installed by stainless steel clips and shows a beautiful looking without seeing the clips.
